Fa Hairstyle

If I look short in these pictures, that's because I am. I'm usually careful to place my tripod and angle my camera a certain way to make myself not look as short as I really am (5'2"). But as I wasn't feeling to well this morning, I just wanted to get it over with. I really hope that I'm not getting sick as I'm to be on a plane tomorrow afternoon, on my way to visit my family for the Easter weekend. So you can expect a few post interruptions from Thursday to Monday as I really don't know how much time I'll have to blog. Actually, the truth is, I'm not really sure I'll have any blogworthy outfits! Everytime I go home I tend to not pack a full suitcase but only bring with me a very small carry-on. If you knew the trek I had to make to get to the airport, you'd understand. Oh just a little band called She & Him ! EEEEeeeee! The show was so great, it exceeded my expectations actually, if you could believe it. Let's see, where to begin? The opening band were the Living Sisters, ok not really my thing. { I found my own sun} A few weeks ago, I received an email from Weardrobe asking me to be a part of the Weardrobe / Pac Sun Spring Break crew. At first, I wasn't really sure what this all entailed. But soon enough a packaged arrived on my doorstep with a whole bunch of Spring/Summer goodies. I couldn't believe it. All of the stuff was really cute and I couldn't wait to photograph my outfits! One problem, the weather in NYC was far from Springlike. So I waited, then waited. But now having some new clothes and not getting to wear it just brings me back to my childhood where my mom bought my school clothes in August and I had to wait until September to wear them.                    As I mentioned, last Saturday I had the opportunity to meet up with some other bloggers and have a little photoshoot with Dusty Rose Vintage. The theme started out as "Prom" but when you put a gaggle of girls together in a studio full of awesome vintage clothing, there's really not stopping them. So this look was one of the ones we came up with after the whole prom dresses were done. When I was given this trenchcoat to try on, I immediately had to grab a petticoat and decided to wear it as a dress. The shoes were also borrowed from DRV and I lvoed how the whole look just came together. Of course, you can buy the dresses and trenchcoat, over at the DRV shop. As I lay here in bed writting this, with my laptop propped up on my knees, I'm just praying for all of it to make sense. You see, it's currently 1:05am and I'm scheduling this post for Friday morning. Overly tired, and um... one too many glasses (ok bottles) of wine later I really wanted this to be posted for Friday but didn't think I'd have the time to actually sit down and write  any of it at the time. I currently have a friend/coworker in town from Vancouver so I've been a little preoccupied these past two days but I'm definitely not complaining.
