Proud to be a Dusty Rose
For the past few weeks I've been working on a little collaboration with the online shop Dusty Rose Vintage. I've been a fan of theirs ever since I spotted them on chictopia and was happy to find out that they're based right here in Brooklyn!
I met up with Renae, one half of the company, at their Williamsburg studio to basically play dress up. Racks upon racks of vintage clothing at my disposal to take home and style up to my liking. Who wouldn't want that?
Since I'm not that thrilled about what i was wearing today, I'm posting one of the outfits I put together using an item from their shop which you can findon Etsy. So if you like the item, you get the chance to actually buy it! I've included the links below.
I grabbed this sweater because..well...it's cropped and for some reason I love buying crop tops and never wearing them. Honestly. I think I've acquired 5 this past summer and wore 2 of them. This little number was intriguing though and fun to style up. I paired it with a cotton/spandex skirt, peep toe tights and heels. Topped it off with a little high bun and voila, I'd be ready for a night out. Well, that is if I went out more often.
This collaboration couldn't have come at a better time since I'll be away for the next couple of weeks. I have a whole lot of looks stored away that I'm dying to show you all so if you see the picket fence background you'll know that it's most likely a Dusty Rose Vintage look. I will try to post some current outfit posts, that is, if I find a suitable spot and can coerce a family member into being my photog. (tripod is staying in BK)
It's going to be a fun couple of weeks.
