You'll find salvation at the end of the track

Walking back to the subway station after the swap, we spotted these train tracks that were no longer in use. Naturally, Nickie and I, both took out our cameras and started snapping away. I love finding new locations to take my pictures; if only I was more adventurous to take out my tripod on the regular and use the nyc backdrops at my disposal. One day.

Now about the swap. From the looks of it, the turn out was pretty good. The was a line up coming in and even around 5pm when we were leaving, the line was even longer. There was clothing, music, books, shoes, and even a rather odd little corner with boxes full of panties, scaves, and belts, odds and ends.

Now, I'm not sure if you've ever been to a swap but the basis is: grab, then look. So as I grabbed away at anything that caught my eye, I barely had the time to look if it was even my size. Now that I'm home, I realize that the size 11/12 mod skirt and the XXL leopard cardigan will not quite make it to my wardrobe. I did manage to find a very cute vintage, granny looking purse, a long black with floral print dress and some pastel pink pants.
Here are a few more pictures of my day.

(Morgan Ave stop on the L train)

(Different rooms held different goodies up for grabs)

(Swap frenzy)

(Nickie getting her picture taken, looks so profesh)

(Score! tote bags for sale)

(I'll be keeping this floral print dress)

(Light pink trousers from Victoria Secret? why not?!)

You can read more about it at the Score! website, and I'd like to thank Connie for letting me know about this awesome event!
