Just for kicks






Today I'm not planning on going anywhere. I have plenty of things on my to do list and none of them require me to step out that front door. Thank goodness because I just really want sometime to stay home and get to work on a few projects.
But, since I had a few spare moments (ok.. procrastinating) I decided to put together a casual weekend outfit that I would wear if I were to leave the house.

One of my little projects is my weekly hair post. This week I'm going to show you the super easy steps in achieving these bouncy waves of mine. I'll get around to posting it tonight for those of you interested.
I've also added a few items to Shop Idée's Closet, so you should probably have a little gander at what's up for grabs.

Now if you'll excuse me the sun is just about to set and has the most beautiful light, I'm going to try and get one quick little outfit shoot in, maybe to save for a rainy day.

{Blue & Peach} Yes, I'm still taking outfit pictures in my backyard. We were planning on moving this weekend but midway throught he week we found out that the tenant that is curerntly in the spot we're moving into wasn't planning on getting out until Monday. Who does that? Personally, I much rather move over the weekend than leaving it until a Monday but I guess not everyone is on a Monday to Friday schedule. So, instead I spent Saturday packing away, and Sunday went into the city with my man and strolled through Central Park, and stopped into the Met for a quick look. We had a delicious lunch at Candle cafe , another amazing vegan place in the city. This outfit is from last week but I didn't have time to post it until now. I like this color combination and the tights add a little texture since both top and skirt are solid. I usually like to mix it up with a least one print but this is keeping it a little more simple.
