Une poupée vivante
Today was a rough day, which explains the late post. Last night I had plans to meet up with some friends that ended taking me all over the city. When I say "all over" I just mean from Chelsea/West Village, then to the East Village and made my way back to Brooklyn. The first stop was see say goodbye to not only my boss but she's also a very good friend that has been my pillar of support throughout these past years getting adjusted to NYC. She's been one of my biggest blog advocates and I've always been able to come to her for any sort of advice. Not having her around, not only in the office but just there for me to bounce ideas off of will definitely be an adjustement. I wish her nothing the but the best as she sets off on a new exciting journey with her husband with a new house in a new state.
After that, I hopped on the train and made my way over to Lit, to meet Nickie and some of her friends. We danced and made some requests for the DJ, and then made one more stop at another bar before parting ways. Well, unfortunately by then it was already 4:30am and the subway system in nyc is incredibly slow at that time (naturally) so I walked through my door at around 5:15am, made sure that all the blinds were well shut considering the sun was coming up and crawled into bed.
This dress is from the closet of Lulu Letty, our newest Delightful Dozen member. She got it custom made for her by the ever so talented Dear Beatrice. Funny enough, it fits me perfectly. I'm going to have a hard time giving this one up, but alas, I believe that it's on it's way to Alaska on Monday. sigh.
