Ma journée

The other day when I was writting up my post about what I had done that day I felt a tinge guitly about not having taken ANY pictures of it. I know you guys don't expect it but I think it'd be more interesting if I actually show you what I do all day, right?
This past Wednesday, I decided to document my day and make a "a day in the life of" kind of thing for you. Ready? Here we go:

On a weekday I (try to) wake up around 7am. Yup, that's my unmade bed. I hope my parents don't see this.

I get ready and leave around 8am. Sometimes taking outfit pictures takes an extra 10 minutes. One last look in the mirror, brush my teeth and I"m off.

The subway station is 3 blocks from my house. I take the R three stops before transfering to an express train.

The express train goes over the Manhattan bridge and I get to see the New York city scape/Brooklyn Bridge every morning.

I work in the Garment district which is right next to Times Square. It gets a little crazy, just grabbing a coffee in the afternoon is an obstacle!

On this particular day, we were going to visit our Kensie store at The Woodbury Commons Outlet stores. We got this sweet ride from the car rental agency.

I'm always excited when I get in a car now since it's so rare!

A few outfit shots once we got the store.

Self-explanatory, the Kensie store.

This part I hate, lunchtime. All we have to choose from is a gross food court. I got a veggie delite sandwich from Subway. Meh.

At the store, I check inventory, do any markdowns necessary, check in with the staff, and dress mannequins with new merchandise.

After work, I go to the gym. I currently have a membership at Lucille Roberts. They offer super affordable memberships and they're a ladies only gym.

Unflatering gym pic.

It's about 8pm once I get back from the gym. I heated up some soup, settled in and watched The Valley of the Dolls movie, and worked on a little knitting project.

After reading the book, I lent it to my coworker who loved it just as much as I did so she went ahead and bought the movie! It's definitely not as good as the book and the storyline doesn't make any sense but it's fun to watch anyways!

And there you have it friends, my day in a nutshell! Hopefully you're all still here and I didn't bore you with my daily activities. If you want to see more pictures from my day, I've uploaded all of them in an album on my Facebook page.
