Fringe Hairstyles The fringe haircut, also know in the US and Canada as “bangs”, is back in fashion this year with top celebrities like Kate Moss and Jennifer Aniston wearing fringe hairdos. The style involves cutting the hair above the forehead in such a way that it can be combed forward with fringes. The conventional fringe style is pretty straight, with the hair cut just above the eyebrow but modern styles come in many ragged, windswept and disheveled flavors. Some styles even partly cover the eyes.
