{The beginning of the Holidays} For those of you that are new to this blog, I work for Kensie as a Merchandiser/Buyer. I've been working for them for the last 5 years as I started when I was living in Vancouver. I moved to New York two years ago in order to continue working for them and am now focused on the retail operations as well as our new e-commerce venture. {A little bit of Vancouver} As you know I'm in Vancouver this week. It's that time of year when Kensie throws their annual Holiday party , which is tonight. I haven't been able to take any outfit pictures while here so I thought I'd share a few favorite pictures that I have saved on my computer of Vancouver. The tree at English Bay. Every year it gets strung with lights and on Christmas/New Years you can catch some carollers gathered around it. This picture was taken a few years ago on New Years day. The Silvia Hotel. This hotel is so beautiful and is located right by Stanley Park.  You can catch a beautiful view of the ocean from their bar/lounge area. Last Wednesday night in Vancouver, I attended the annual kensie Holiday party. It was held at The Alibi Room in Gastown which I hadn't been in a really long while. If you live in Vancouver I'd definitely recommend it! It has a really great atmosphere and seems open to accomodate large groups of people. I decided to pull out my McQueen for Target dress that I bought last Spring..hmm, was it spring? I'm not sure anymore anywho, I'd only worn once to my brother's wedding last April so I thought one more time! Aside from this dress being the most fantastic shape and design, the pièce de resistance were definitely my shoes!! Remember way back when in June when I posted about sending my Seychelles to my brother , well guess you just got them back! They are even better than what I expected and I couldn't wait to wear them. I'm going to be quite the busy bee these upcoming weeks. I realize that I rarely share what's going on in my life and I'll try to rectify that as to keep you all in the loop (especially since my family reads this on the regular and I'm sure they wonder what I'm up to). I had the last two nights to do some random housework, like dishes, groceries and laundry. I've also been trying to keep up with two of my favorite tv shows right now, Dexter and Mad Men but not having cable means waiting to download which keeps me a little behind. Today I've been invited by the lovely people at Seychelles & BC Footwear to catch a sneak peek of their SS10 line. I'm quite excited as well as flattered to be asked to attend.
