Due to the ice-drift and climate, Johan and his team have been forced west, away from their original route. Determined to push forward, the team has been forced to compensate by increasing their daily work dose, working twelve hours a day! With the onset spring, temperatures have reached approximately -10 Degrees Celsius , causing a lack of ice to the North of Greenland as snow has begun to melt.
