Hi guys! I thought I'd just pop in to let you know that I'm alive and well. New York had an amazing weekend weather wise, a little chilly, jacket and tights weather, but super sunny. It was absolutely gorgeous that I spent most of it outdoors. No, not the great outdoors like camping and stuff like that, geez, I haven't gone camping in ages but I did manage to run some errands on Saturday and ended up walking everywhere I had to go. Although sometimes I do wish I had a car, it's kind of nice to not be driving everywhere and end up taking a 2 hour walk on a sunny afternoon. Today I spent the day making a French lentil soup and updating a few things for my blog. Expect to see a few changes around here in the next few days. It's been in the works for a while but now I feel like I really need to get it done. This outfit was what I wore on Wednesday. So much is going on these days that I feel like my posting schedule is all out of whack. That's ok though, next week I think everything will be back to normal. I love pairing black and brown together. I think it kind of looks classy, I never understood why it was a no no. I mean, really people? Why limit ourselves when it comes to our wardrobe. O.k, so how perfect is it that this top randomly bought at H&M last Summer matches this kensiegirl dress perfectly? If you haven't noticed I've been trying to find different printed items in my wardrobe that I haven't yet worn together and testing them out. So far I'm liking the results. Oh lets not get started on my hair. I tested out the "wash it at night and let it dry overnight" method. Yeah, it didn't quite work and left my hair kind of stringy looking with a little bit of waves. Since I thought this would save me time this morning, I did not have any choice but to pin it up any which way and head out the door. First of all, a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in Canada! It's Columbus day here but I still have to get my butt to work. I guess it's fine since next month I'll have 2 1/2 days off for the US thanksgiving holiday. I just have to be patient. I'm very excited to be wearing my new flower necklace that I won from the lovely ladies over at {Have a cute day} ! I'm super happy its black as it'll go with anything, I could probably even wear it with one of my floral print dresses. (**Note to self) Go check out their blog!
