I feel like an eclectic old lady in this outfit. You'd think I'd have a dozen cats hanging off me, right? Since I wasn't really up to much on Sunday I thought that comfort was key. I started my day with a trip to the hairsalon. I just got more layers and a trim so I can finally see and my fringe isn't in my face. I'm still thinking about going red but that's too much of a commitment right now. More pondering on that subject. When I got home it was more "me" time. Finishe dup all the projects I posted earlier, took some pictures, knitted a little more, dishes, cleaning out the closet. You know, the Sunday stuff. I wore these leggings two days in a row. Don't judge me, I just couldn't resist! This cozy cardigan was bought last weekend on my Beacon's Closet shopping trip with Christina. It's so very 80"s, the only thing missing from it are shoulder pads. But hey, the taupe color and slouchy fit will be perfect come spring time weather...

Can you believe it? This is my first post with snow! However this was not today's outfit. I took these on December 31st since I wanted to get at least one picture while there was snow on the ground. It seems to be dissapearing really fast these days. I'm heading out to Williamsburg for a little shopping today! I haven't worn my hair straight in a while. I feel like I look different today, maybe? Well another casual layered look today since I'm still in holiday mode even though I've been working these past two days. I think next week is going to be a hard one since everything will be back to its usual schedule. Today I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow blogger, Sara from The Ocean in your bedroom . She's in NYC for NYE so I thought what a great opportunity to meet up and grab a coffee. Oh and not only is she another blogger but she's also from Canada! Hopefully we'll get together again over the weekend and do a little bit of shopping. Remember when I listed 7 random facts about me? And number 3 was that I was a dork? Well, this post title just proves it. Everytime I start a post I come up with the cheesiest titles for them and most days I hold myself back before hitting "publish post" and quickly change it. Today wasn't one of those days. Comfort to me equals leggings. But then, leggings equals frumpy. So how do I manage to leave the house in leggings? Lace! I was so happy that kensiegirl was making these printed lace leggings, that I quickly snatched up a pair. I think they might even get remixed in this blog since i've already thought of a few different ways to wear them. Today's comfy look is due to sleeping in (which I've been doing alot) and not having time to get into my usual routine. Last night after my day of doing nothing but cleaning and reading magazines, I headed over to Chris'. We ordered in some Indian curry from this new place down the street (which turned out to be yummy) and played some Mario Wii, or is it Mario Party? I'm not sure, we played some type of video games anyhow and ended with a few rounds of Tetris. You can say that I had a very chill weekend and i'm actually fine with that. This outfit is something that I've worn before but never got around to take pictures. It's the perfect hanging out outfit without looking like I'm in my pj's, although that's exactly how I feel. I styled it up here showing a few different options. I'm on my way to the BAM rose cinemas , one of my favorite theatres in Brooklyn, to watch Precious .
