Just catching up on some outfit pictures I took last week. The weather was mostly rain making it really difficult to take any pictures, let alone getting a together a decent outfit.  We've been blessed this weekend with gorgeous sunny days so far which explains my absence. I've spent most of the last two days outside, riding my bike, having picnics in the park, and attended  a roof top party last night. As you might have guessed, NY is getting hit hard with rain. We've had several flood warnings but I'm happy that it was not gotten that bad just yet. What better way to spend a rainy night than tucked away in a movie theatre with a friend and snacks. That's exactly what I did last night after work. I went to see water for Elephants, a movie adaptation from the book of the same title by Sara Gruen. Now we all know not to expect a lot out of a movie once you've read the book {and liked it } so I held back my expectations for this one but was pleasantly surprised! The picture is beautiful as are the costumes since the movie follows the Benzini Bros. circus back in 1931.The movie did a great job of intoducing the characters, the main character Jacob Jankowski {Robert Pattinson} an almost Cornell Grad  Veterinary student that ends up as the circus vet , Marlena {Reese Witherspoon} the star attraction and love interest, and August {Christoph Waltz} the ringleader and Marl...

Hi all, sorry for my absence this week but it's been a pretty crazy one! I'm so happy that it's finally {almost} the weekend! What are your plans? {Christmas Tree} Just getting in the Holiday spirit and sharing a few of my favorite christmas ornaments! I won't take a picture of my full tree as it's a little "Charlie Brown"ish  but I've had it for years now and I just can't part with it. {Whales and little hearts} This week has been very tiring. I kind of feel selfish saying that knowing that so many of you out there spend your days caring for little one's, juggling numerous jobs or finishing up various education ventures. Me? well, I work full time. and then blog. haha.            Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I flew back from Vancouver on Friday, loosing 3 hours to the time zone so my whole day was a write off. I got in pretty late after having to take the train and then subway all the way to Brooklyn. Feeling pretty beat and not having any outfit to post, I ended up catching up on alot of blogs that I so dearly missed! Saturday was Nickie and I's friendship anniversary! Yup, one year ago yesterday, Nickie and I met up in Williamsburg, went shopping and then had some drinks until the wee hours. So to commemorate the day we did it all over again! The night turned out to be super fun and I can't wait to read up on her latest Weekend rewind. This is also the one year mark for this blog. As I was uploading my pictures to my computer today I realized that I've been tagging them with the wrong month! Up until today, all of my May outfit pictures are all under April! Sheesh, it took me 18 days to figure that one out? Where have I been? I was barely able to get an outfit picture in this morning due to this rainy weather. It's funny how the rain doesn't really come up inthe pictures though. So I just had to quickly keep snapping away and hoping that I'd get at least one out of the bunch good enough to post! I was trying to get into manhattan earlier this morning to attend a little morning meeting. So early! Well sorry to just get up and go but I have dinner on the stove and a few more things to check off my to do list this evening. Finally, my last post on Coachella! Are you happy?sad? nostalgic? Wait, that would be me.  Well on our third day we went pretty casual in attire but a little hardcore with the bands. Since it was our last day we really wanted to take it all in , or something. For our casual day attire, we both went with jean shorts, flowy cotton top, and boots. I think this outfit was mostly just "practical" as by the third day we were kind of dissapointed with the lack of fashionistas. For the most part, it was all about bikini tops and cutoffs, but that's not really my thing, ever, so this was a good alternative!
