{First of the Year} Well you guys, this is my first official remix of the year! I decided to rummage through some drawers to see what I hadn't worn in a while and voila, there is was, the sweet sweater vest I got last winter. Sometimes, deciding on an outfit the night before doesn't work out so well for me. You see, whatever super cool (re: complicated) outfit I might think I want to wear the night before is the complete opposite of the actual outfit I feel like wearing the morning of. But I knew that this one would be great...since it involved jeans. What I also had time to do the night before? Trim my fringe! Yes, finally it has been bugging me forever so I took the time to pin my hair back, straighten out the bangs, and then start cutting. I cut them a little shorter than usual so you can actually see my eyebrows. In fact, that's the first thing my co-worker said to me this morning. I pinned back my bangs today. Not because i'm trying to grow them out, but because I thought it would work better with this outfit. Does anyone else do this? Sometimes I think of what I'm wearing and go: "Oh I better put my hair up/curly/straight", all depending on the look i'm going for. I guess if you have short hair you don't need to worry about this silly stuff but I think about it all the time. I'm looking more and more tired in all of my pictures this week. I think it was the daylight savings time that messed it all up. I mentally prepare myself to "look awake" as I walk outside to take my pictures but I'm not fooling anyone. Right after finishing up my diy headpiece I stepped out to take these pictures. Now, I kind of feel like a fraud since I didn't really wear this today. I just thought that I needed something pink to go with the headband and well, this skirt is the only pink thing I own. So after these pictures were taken, I changed, bundled up and went to get a fringe trim. Yes, I'm going to start calling it a fringe because it sounds so much better than bangs. I know that they already call it a fringe in Australia and Europe too, I believe. So why not start the trend here? Either way, I was due, you can barely see my eyes!
