On Sunday night, as if my weekend hadn't been eventful enough, I met up with my gals at the Brooklyn Bowl for an event called Local x Local. My good friends at Dusty Rose Vintage were selling some of their wares, and it's right in the neighborhood, so why not? It turned into a really fun Sunday night, thanks to this little thing called The BKBooth . Scroll down to see what I mean.  Yup, these are my girls that I usually spend most of my weekends with. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am so lucky to have such a tight knit group of ladies to not only hang out with but to count on when whenever i need it. I hope everyone had a great Sunday, whether you celebrate Easter or not. I had to run out this morning and get a few more ingredients for our Easter brunch and was pleasantly surprised at how warm it was in Brooklyn. People were walking around in tee-shirts and shorts! Just makes me realize how close we are to getting this kind of weather on a regular basis. So we had a great little brunch with friends. The menu included scrambled tofu, banana bread, roasted potatoes & veggies, fruit pizza, and a lemon tart {the only non-vegan item} After brunch we headed into the city to attend a photo exhibit for two of my friends that completed their photography class. The exhibit was held a Photo Manhattan, where the classes were taken, and showcased the students best 6 photos thaken through the class. {Friends you've never known} Like I had mentioned on Friday, this past weekend was full of blogger meet ups. I couldn't have been happier to see Veronika again, and this time she brought friends, Stephanie and Rachel along. As if that wasn't enough, the lovely Hannah joined us as well with friend in tow. I'm always really excited to meet up with other bloggers especially when we've worked up a little online friendship beforehand. It just makes things that much easier when you do see each other face to face and it's like you're all just friends reuniting again. {All in one Sunday} My Sunday started out like any other day. All of my favorite ladies getting together for a brunch in Park Slope (Brooklyn). Just perfect as I hadn't seen a lot of them since before the Holidays so we had some major catching up to do! We all met up at The V-Spot , one of my favorite vegan restaurants. After our brunch, it was the perfect time to get some outfit pictures in. Ladies I tend to spend a lot of time with. We snapped a pic of this cute little dog outside Brooklyn Industry. The poor thing was shivering in the cold. Ok, for those of you who know me, I'm not too fond of dogs, but this little one was really cute! Just a few pictures from my Saturday night halloween festivities. We made our way to various Williamsburg bars, ending up in Greenpoint. The night was pretty tame and I don't know if I saw any costumes that really blew my mind. Here's my Wednesday Addams costume, which sort of passed as the girl from the ring too. Nickie made this skirt for her Fashion school project. Good thing she held on to it! And of course, the night wouldn't be complete with a bear and hunter combo. Nickie and NickiSixx, oh my!

As I mentioned earlier, I'm attending a wedding today of a very dear friend. You see, I met Sue way back when I had just moved to Vancouver in 2001. I was there, living with my boyfriend at the time and she was just moving to the city from Ottawa as well. Her boyfriend knew mine and since they didn't have a place yet, they stayed with us, in a studio, meant for one. person. yup. So there I was in tight living quarters with this girl I had never met, her boyfriend I barely knew and mine for about 2 weeks time. During that time we got to know each other pretty well, how could we not? and I liked her. so it was no big deal. well, funny enough our other friends in the building were moving out so she ended up moving in right upstairs! Kind of like a "Friends" situation. How perfect. We'd show up at each other's door, mine to come in and watch tv, and hers to have a glass of wine.
