Oh where do I even begin? It's so hard to recap such a monumental* weekend that I guess anywhere will do. On Day One of Coachella we took it easy. And by easy I mean, got our swimsuits on and headed for the pool for a little R & R in the sun. We slowly took our time getting ready for the day ahead after we felt that we had a good enough leasure time by the pool. We packed it into the car and made our way to the polo grounds where the event took place. Huge mistake. Apparently EVERYONE gets there late and here we were thinking that we were clever by missing the morning traffic. In the car with nothing else to do but take some pics Coachella traffic on Day 1, Friday . Since traffic was at a stand still and we knew that we were on a time crunch to catch She & Him play, Christina and I got out of the car and walked to the venue while her hubs, bless his heart, sat in traffic and met us at the venue much much later. Outfit: Top}kensiegirl Skirt}H&M Tights}Uniqlo SHoes}Thrifted This is what I threw on this morning after trying to get as much sleep as I could after last nights' show. What show you ask? Oh just a little band called She & Him ! EEEEeeeee! The show was so great, it exceeded my expectations actually, if you could believe it. Let's see, where to begin? Well for those of you that aren't following me on twitter, you missed the play by play from the begining of the show. ( I stopped tweeting once Miss Zooey took the stage as to not miss a minute!) The opening band were the Living Sisters, ok not really my thing. Could've done without but whatever I can see the harmony/bluegrass feeling that ties them to She & Him. Once the band took the stage everyone went crazy. Zooey was wearing a navy blue halter dress, her hair was straight (and so long) and she was tiny!!! Once she started singing though she really belted it out. Such a strong voice and presence...

Since I didn't have any particular item planned out to wear today, my outfit definitely had to come together pretty easily as to not be late for work. Now, I wasn't particularly thrilled about it until I started "tweeting" with Aspiring Fashionista about her (500) Days of Summer post, found here . Then I thought, well I guess my outfit would kind of be something that Summer would wear, right? it has that little office, vintagy look to it. Maybe something like this: Haha, o.k,. There's so many posts about that movie going around still. Are people just getting around to watching it now? you guys are crazy if so. I've already watched it twice and am sure if I owned a tv/dvd player I'd probably have it on 24/7 while I go about my household chores. Since today I don't have an outfit post for you, I've decided that it was time for one of those random inspiration posts. I don't do these often, I think this is my second one ever, since they seem to take alot of time to put together.
