Here's Monday's outfit. I realize one thing missing from my closet is a black pencil skirt. I think I stay away from black a little too much sometimes. I definitely need to invest in some basics so black pencil skirt is going on that list! This outfit is so a hodgepodge of things threwn together. I've ben meaning to wear this blouse for the longest time but just haven't gotten around to it. I absolutely love the side ruffle detail. I've been kniting alot again and finished this hat. I'm in the process of making new headbands too, so let's hop ethat I keep up this productivity to have enough to put up in the shop! I might be jumping the gun a little since I want to keep a few for myself but hey, there's nothing wrong with being a little ambitious! I've been thinking alot lately on what makes me happy. Of course, there's friends and family and warm weather and all of that stuff but I think what I was looking for is something that was missing. When Practical Princess emailed me the other day about making a headband for her, I was right on it. I found a beautiful lavender yarn and got out my bamboo needles and started knitting. I finished it so quickly that I amazed myself. And that is when it hit me, I feel happy when I'm creative, when i'm doing something with my hands, and making something unique for someone to enjoy. Naturally, I thought I need to do this more. But when? I'm already at a job that I love during the day, meet up with friends as much as I can, and keep up with life stuff. What its come down to is spend less time on the internet. First of all, a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in Canada! It's Columbus day here but I still have to get my butt to work. I guess it's fine since next month I'll have 2 1/2 days off for the US thanksgiving holiday. I just have to be patient. I'm very excited to be wearing my new flower necklace that I won from the lovely ladies over at {Have a cute day} ! I'm super happy its black as it'll go with anything, I could probably even wear it with one of my floral print dresses. (**Note to self) Go check out their blog! I'm not sure if I'll be posting my outfit today. You see, it's already 1:30pm and I'm still in my housewear which includes a gray AA Deep V tee and leggings. My bangs are all over the place, I think it's due to sleeping on my stomach. So I give you pictures I took a few weeks back for a weardrobe contest, for which I did not win. I did like how the pictures came out though. Today involves giving my apartment a major overhaul. I'm going to go through some clothing and see if it's about that time to drop some off at Beacon's Closet. Oh, I just remembered I still have a store credit there! Major plus as I'm a little broke at this time and any shopping is out of the question. I also want to finish knitting a few items to post up on my Etsy, which I opened then kind of forgot about. This outfit was built around my new shoes! I love them so much even though they look a little granny-ish. Well, I guess you could say that that's right up my alley.  I think they'll go great with many vintage dresses currently hanging in my closet as well, so I'm sure they'll be making some appearances in future posts! Today I'm going for a Fall theme. Trying to keep it neutral after all the color I've worn this week. I figure sometime's I need to tone it down. You know in my last post when I said that I've been knitting away and that you'd soon find out what exactly that was?? Well, now is the time! I decided to do something special and have my very own giveaway once I reached 100 followers.
