{Recreated Outfit} Confession: I wore this outfit out at a show a few weeks ago but since I never took pictures, I wanted to recreate it for the blog. This is a more toned down look more suitable for daytime. For the night time look I had paired it with some ripped up black tights and black boots. It's been a while since I wore a headband, I used to wear them all of the time last year, or was it the year before? They just seem to be a little cumbersome sometimes but maybe I just need to find the right scarves that won't slip so much. These pictures are from yesterday's museum adventures. Nickie had some friends in town so we ventured up on Museum Mile rd, which is also the name of Fifth ave near the 90's. After finding out that the first exhibit that we wanted to see wasn't installed yet, we wandered over to the Guggenheim to check out their Haunted exhibit (which was sort of a let down). Then we made our way down to Chelsea where there was a Etsy vendors craft fair. Well, I guess they weren't planning on the crazy high winds that were going on and most of the vendors were already gone or holding on to their goods as to not blow away. I swear, just walking around yesterday was no small feat. Nickie was wearing a skirt and well, let's just say probably pulled a Marilyn more than once.                                        ...

I was really set on wearing a sweatshirt and pants today but, 1. I couldn't find this particular sweatshirt that I've had forever, and 2. It was 48 degrees here in nyc today! So while fishing around for a top to wear with ths skirt I found this little gem! I'm not even sure when it was purchased, maybe back in September when I went to Vancouver, or maybe it was over the Thanksgiving holiday in Ottawa? Hmm, anywho, I was super stoked to have found it! I'm trying to go with a casual friday look here which is why I added the denim vest. Otherwise this outfit would totally work for night. It's official, I'm a horrible Weekend Blogger. You see I'm so diligent in taking pictures Monday through Friday (no pictures this past friday as they did not turn out right) that once the weekend hits, my weekly routine is shot and outfit pictures are only remembered once its too late . Hopefully nobody missed me too much and I'm making it up by posting my Saturday night outfit. Nickie and her posse had planned a night of dancing at this pub here in Park Slope. Well, what we didn't know is that the Yankees game took precedence over a dance party and nobody ended up dancing except for Nickie. Oh well, maybe next weekend. I decided I should try wearing my betsy j heart stockings one more time, even though I got a huge run in them the first time I wore them on my birthday .
