I am so happy that it's finally the weekend! I have some pretty great things lined up {re: Bust Craftacular, and Dusty Rose Vintage photoshoot} that will be keeping me busy but i'm also hoping to get some time to get back to crafting. I have a few projects in the works that I'm hoping to have up here in the next few weeks. More on that later... We shot these pictures last night after I got home from work. Something that I never like to do as looking good after a full day's work is nearly impossible! After a quick make-up touch up, we set off to find an appropriate background. I've given up on using my tripod on the street. I need to find myself a little nook in the apartment to take my pictures when outdoor shots just aren't possible. Don't worry I''m sure I'll figure it all out soon enough. Since it's been a while that I've put up one of these remixes, here it is! I've had this dress for a very long time now and it's still one of...

Suzi dit Feng Shui

It's finally Friday and I'm so excited for this weekend! Nickie and I decided on a impromptu out of the city getaway to the Poconos. Oh man, it feels like it's been ages since I left the city. I can't wait for thrift stores, flea markets and lots of goodwill thrifting. I think I better bring an extra suitcase just in case. And of course, I'll be taking loads of pictures! This morning when I was taking my outfit pics I was really trying to show off how this new OPI color: Suzi says Feng Shui matched perfectly with the blue in my dress. It wasn't even intentional since I was planning on wearing something completely different last night when I was painting my nails. I couldn't figure out how to pose for this and felt a little awkward!haha. Have a good weekend everyone. I'll be back on Tuesday.  Outfit: Dress}kensie Shoes}Winner's Nailpolish} OPI, Suzi says Feng Shui

I'm excited to show you all this lovely cardigan that I bought used my credit over at Beacon's over the weekend. It's exactly what I've been looking for in terms of pastels and embellishments. It's absolutely beautiful and so soft and cuddly! It's made in Scotland exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue and is of 100% pure cashmere. Hence the super softness! It's no surprise that I kept the color pallette Ivory and Black as I've mentioned before this is one of my favorite combinations. The best part is the pearls and beads placed on the shoulders. I'm sure you've seen newer versions of this done at H&M and Topshop right now. So yesterday I took a little trip (o.k, walked two blocks) to visit the Seychelles showroom to review their Spring and Summer 2010 collection. They, of course, have an aray of beautiful vintagey looking heels as well as a few practical everyday shoes that I want to keep on the lookout for. They had an OPI manicurist on site th...

Pastel Dreams

Remember when I was talking about wanting every color of pastel in my wardrobe for Fall? Well imagine my delight when I saw this little skirt on the Modcloth website on sale! It's almost as if they were reading my mind.  I've been reading about multicolored nailpolish in a few magazines and finally decided to give it a go. I brought out my most neutral color palette of polishes and just played around with it starting with the lightest color on my thumb and gradually going darker. Once it was done, I realized that I think I should've done it the other way around (darker starting on my thumb). Oh well, live and learn I guess. I still like it and think I'm going to try out different palettes for fall. What do you guys think? Am I crazy? Outfit: Skirt}Modcloth Top}kensie Shoes}Seychelles Ring}India
