I did not want to have to brave the cold today! Hence, my indoor apt. pictures. Yes, I'm calling myself sophisticated, no bright colors, no crazy prints. Only for today though, I still don't know what tomorrow will bring. I'm very split personality when it comes to outfits, if I'm super casual one day, I'll make an effort to be totally dressed up the next. So case in point, yesterday's outfit of jeans and mocs prompted this outfit fit for a proper office workplace. So accountants, managers, and exec's take note! I did get a very special surprise in the mail today and can't wait to put together my outfit tomorrow! If you're following my tweets you'll know what it is. It's been raining non stop here for 2 days. I'm really hoping that we get some dry time tomorrow and Friday so that I can go back to my usual outdoor outfit pics. But for now, you'll have to make do with these. My outfit consists of a silk skirt that i've had for a while now but seldom wear because I find it a little fancy. I wanted something grey or neutral (not black) and could only find this so I tried to make it work. I downplayed it by adding a printed scarf around the waist then re-belting it with the original skinny belt it came with. Quite a bright idea if you ask me.Paired with a plain white tee (not the band,tee hee) and a denim jacket also makes this look alot more casual. Right? The braids are actually done using my clip-in extensions. I ended up going with the A.Wang side braid in the end but these were fun for the morning at least. I'm not sure if I'll be posting my outfit today. You see, it's already 1:30pm and I'm still in my housewear which includes a gray AA Deep V tee and leggings. My bangs are all over the place, I think it's due to sleeping on my stomach. So I give you pictures I took a few weeks back for a weardrobe contest, for which I did not win. I did like how the pictures came out though. Today involves giving my apartment a major overhaul. I'm going to go through some clothing and see if it's about that time to drop some off at Beacon's Closet. Oh, I just remembered I still have a store credit there! Major plus as I'm a little broke at this time and any shopping is out of the question. I also want to finish knitting a few items to post up on my Etsy, which I opened then kind of forgot about.
