2 for 1 outfit




I always run into this problem in the fall/winter and I'd like to know if anyone else has this similar issue. See, I have alot of long cardigans that I love layering my outfits with, but once I'm out the door I tend to have a shorter jacket and that leaves my cardigan hanging out the bottom.
Perfect example today, I have this super cute bunny cardigan from kensiegirl (yes, those are bunnies!) but then as soon as I put on my jacket, I felt it looked a little funny having it so much longer.

My solution was to take the cardigan off, stuff it in my bag, then wear my jacket and change at work. Kind of a pain, but what else can I do? The weather isn't cold enough yet to break out the longer coats.

So this explains to two sets of pictures taken this morning. The first with my cardigan, then the second with my jacket sans cardigan.

{Blue & Peach} Yes, I'm still taking outfit pictures in my backyard. We were planning on moving this weekend but midway throught he week we found out that the tenant that is curerntly in the spot we're moving into wasn't planning on getting out until Monday. Who does that? Personally, I much rather move over the weekend than leaving it until a Monday but I guess not everyone is on a Monday to Friday schedule. So, instead I spent Saturday packing away, and Sunday went into the city with my man and strolled through Central Park, and stopped into the Met for a quick look. We had a delicious lunch at Candle cafe , another amazing vegan place in the city. This outfit is from last week but I didn't have time to post it until now. I like this color combination and the tights add a little texture since both top and skirt are solid. I usually like to mix it up with a least one print but this is keeping it a little more simple.
