A case of the Mondays

I wasn't going to post this outfit today as for some reason I'm not all that excited about it. I kind of threw it on this morning and once I left the house I immediately regretted my outfit decisions. Does this happen to anyone else? I regretted my boot choice and should've gone with a flat, my tights seem way too bright, and the jacket, well I changed it right before stepping out of the house.







Once I got home, I proceeded to upload the pictures and decided that it was selfish of me to not post today as there's really nothing wrong with the outfit itself and that it was more of my own personal feelings about it that was keeping me from posting. So basically I'm saying that I'll let you decided whether or not you like this look i've got today and put my crummy feelings aside in the name of fashion.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to go decide what I'm wearing tomorrow to avoid a case of the Tuesdays.

Bleu et Pêche

{Blue & Peach} Yes, I'm still taking outfit pictures in my backyard. We were planning on moving this weekend but midway throught he week we found out that the tenant that is curerntly in the spot we're moving into wasn't planning on getting out until Monday. Who does that? Personally, I much rather move over the weekend than leaving it until a Monday but I guess not everyone is on a Monday to Friday schedule. So, instead I spent Saturday packing away, and Sunday went into the city with my man and strolled through Central Park, and stopped into the Met for a quick look. We had a delicious lunch at Candle cafe , another amazing vegan place in the city. This outfit is from last week but I didn't have time to post it until now. I like this color combination and the tights add a little texture since both top and skirt are solid. I usually like to mix it up with a least one print but this is keeping it a little more simple.
