Best of's for 2009 pt.3- shorts/rompers

12:06am, yikes! I was hoping to get two posts done per day but looks like I've missed it by 6 minutes...or however minutes it is until I'm finally done pressing the "publish" button.

In any case, before this blog, I never really thought that I wore that many shorts. Actually my thighs aren't at all to my liking and when I go to the gym ( I try) I usually spend more time on the stationary bike, and on the weird thigh strengthening contraptions...kind of like Susanne Summer's thighmaster.
Well going through my fave outfits of 2009, I feel like shorts and rompers are definitely making themselves comfortable amongst my dresses and skirts...so here they are.

but on this particular day I met Nickie for the first time.
After this meeting we we're inseperable all Summer long.

Then I made my way to Prospect Park
and watched Purple Rain on a big screen.

{Blue & Peach} Yes, I'm still taking outfit pictures in my backyard. We were planning on moving this weekend but midway throught he week we found out that the tenant that is curerntly in the spot we're moving into wasn't planning on getting out until Monday. Who does that? Personally, I much rather move over the weekend than leaving it until a Monday but I guess not everyone is on a Monday to Friday schedule. So, instead I spent Saturday packing away, and Sunday went into the city with my man and strolled through Central Park, and stopped into the Met for a quick look. We had a delicious lunch at Candle cafe , another amazing vegan place in the city. This outfit is from last week but I didn't have time to post it until now. I like this color combination and the tights add a little texture since both top and skirt are solid. I usually like to mix it up with a least one print but this is keeping it a little more simple.
