A great day for shorts
You might have noticed already but i've added yet another way of communicating with the outside world. I've joined Twitter! I'm not sure if this is is a good thing, but I tend to talk alot so why not? I've added it to my sidebar or if you want to follow my "tweets" you can click here.
This morning I met up with Chris for brunch at Curly's vegetarian lunch. I haven't mentioned this yet, but Chris and I have since broken up. It's been a few weeks actually. This meeting was the first time since this decision as we're completely in agreement that we're to remain friends. After brunch we walked around Union Square to check out the Holiday fair that was set-up right next to the usual weekend Farmer's market. I was on the hunt for some hot pear cider but I guess the vendor from last year isn't there anymore. I'll have to settle for the classic apple cider next time. Now I find myself in the mess that s my house.
Tonight, I'm attending the United Way's 2nd annual Young Leaders council Red Carpet Soiree. The Young Leader's Council promotes philanthropy, education, volunteerism and leadership among young professionals in New York City. My coworker and I have been invited to attend which I'm very excited about and it also means getting all dressed up so how can I not accept? I'll write more about the night in tomorrow post as well as include pictures of what I wore of course.
I also have a giveaway to post this weekend so make sure you check back soon!
