Unintentional style chain
I can't take credit for this outfit, well not completely anyways. While browsing through the "featured" page on Weardrobe, I came across this outfit:
I thought, how cute, thisoutfit makes me think of winter. Definitely in a goo way, almost like going up to a cottage or goin skiing, something along those lines. I love how the denim shirts a casual cool look in a way that a blouse never could. I ventured over to this lovely lady's blog: lowbrowstyle, only to find out that she had found the inspiration from this outfit:
This picture is from my friends over at Market Publique. You can find the original post here. I thought, ok :STYLE CHAIN!!
So there were a few modifications along the way, kind of what happens when you play telephone and the message that once was: "I love cheeseburgers", turns into: " Ralph eats his boogers". You know what I'm talking about...
The original outfit consist of loose fit pants, but then it progressed into skinnys, then mine took it one step further with high waisted skinnys.
Since I'm not the owner of a bright red poncho, I subbed for the only red top I have, this cardigan, and added the scarf to replace the plaid print.
The bow is simply a scarf folded into a bow then stringed onto a chain.
And yes, that is snow you see, no picnik touch ups! I can't believe it was snowing this morning. You wouldn't even be able to tell since the ground is now dry and the sun was out. What freakish weather I had just for my outfit pic.
Oh and thank you for understanding my little conundrum yesterday (wait did I just use the word conundrum?) I just want to reinterate, that I DO love blogging. It's not that part that was making me unhappy, or else I would've never continued to post day after day. I just need to make sure that my time is properly managed in order to find the time to do everything that makes me happy (not just blogging).
Love you guys!
