Weekend wear

You've probably been hearing by now how chilly it is on the East coast. It's no lie, the temperatures have dropped and its no longer fun trying to pick out an outfit in the mornings because you don't even want to leave your house.
But today was THE DAY. The day for what you might ask?? I finally made it The Moma! That's right, I think I've been talking about it for about 3 weeks now and I finally saw the Tim Burton Exhibit. Although it was crazy packed I think the whole exhibit was pretty darn cool. It featured alot of his sketches for different films and even had a few little figurines of key characters, which reminded me that I never saw The Corpse Bride. When I say sketches I mean, on a random piece of paper ripped out of a notepad, framed and thrown up on the wall. There were also some manuscripts (very rough drafts) of certain movies like Beetlejuice. Oh and I can't forget some cartoons playing right at the entrance featuring stain boy.

Aside from the Tim Burton exhibit, I saw some pieces from Matisse, Mondrian, Picasso and I think my new fave, Monet, especially the Water Lilies paintings since they are exactly the colors and feeling of what I want my wardrobe to be this spring.

Lastly, we all know how I love a little remix....

Edit: As some of you have pointed out, yes, I'm wearing denim on denim, a.k.a. the Canadian tuxedo. Keep in mind, the only way this works is because my jeans are grey and my jacket is blue. Don't try to match your denim when wearing it together. Just a tip.
