Street Keds

I'm being so productive this weekend, that I'm pretty darn proud of myself! Yesterday was all about cleaning up my apartment, which to be honest, looked much like a bachelor pad, i.e disgusting. I also went through alot of my spring wardrobe and decided what to keep, give, sell and made my way to Beacon's Closet for a drop off. I came back a little richer and much lighter! I love this feeling of just purging so much stuff that feels like it's been weighing me down all winter.

These pictures were taken right outside my house on the other side of the street. You know how hesitant I get about bringing my tripod out in the real world but I figured it was so close by that I'd attempt it. It also helps that there was a big truck parked on the street right in front of this apartement complex, therefore hiding my little tripod set up.

Right now chictopia has partnered up with Keds to host a contest in order to win a trip to New York for the next fashion week. I know, I know, I already live in NYC therefore should not enter, but since they were nice enough to send me these white little darlings, I decided it couldn't hurt to style them up. This outfit deifnitely has a nautical feel, obviously, because of the striped dress so I can imagine myself sailing away for a weekend trip somewhere far away from people lurking at you for walking around with a tripod in hand. I'm just sayin'.
