La Verdure m'entoure
I feel in love with these shoes while I was shopping in Vancouver. For some reason the ALDO in Canada is so much better than the one in the US! Weird how that works. Anyways, I spotted these on some girl that was wearing a simple black jersey dress and a jean jacket (yes I remember the details) and said to myself, please tell me those shoes are here! And well, when I saw her putting them back on the shelf (big mistake if you asked me, they looked so good on her), I quickly had to try them on for myself! I really have a hard time finding black shoes because most of them look to cage-y or high glam and that doesn't really fit my style. So these are a great balance. Not so much of a heel but a mix between that and a wedge. Oh and they're uber comfortable too. No having to change into flats for the walk to the subway. Major bonus if you're living in NY. Anywho, I wanted to pair them with a girly dress and have a little contrast of hard and soft. The bag fit just perfectly being the same shade of green as the print in my dress. I threw on a denim jacket and was off to work.
I've now recovered from the weekend and from being away. I'm back to regular tweeting and hopefully going to get a few features up this week. I've also been working on getting more items in the blog shop. I'm looking forward to the Pay it Fashion Forward event tonight but not so excited that I have to go alone! Yikes! That'll be interesting as I usually don't fair so well at these things. Not really the social butterfly that you may think I am. Wish me luck. Well, lots to do! Gotta go!
