Pay it Fashion Forward

Here it is! My follow up post on the Fashion Delivers event I attended on Tuesday night! Fashion Delivers is an organization that teams up with Fashion industry leaders to donate new products and clothing to help victims of natural disasters. The Pay if Fashion forward event was in honor of 5 industry leaders that have made a positive impact in their communities and the environment. All the net proceeds of the event went to subsidize the shipping of the $25+million in product donations to Haiti.

Here's my outfit:

I wore a vintage Hawaiian dress. The nude heels were such a great deal from the first time I ever went into TJ Maxx and the bag is from Moxsie boutique!

The event was hosted by Emanuelle Chriqui from HBO's Entourage and Bryan Greenberg from How to make it in America, also HBO.

The night also included a  little sneak peak of Forever21's Fall 2010 collection. They turned the bowling lanes into catwalks and had both guys and ladies prancing down the runway. The only thing that confused me is that the guys all wore bowling shoes where as the ladies needed to wear heels. Why? Couldn't they find cute bowling shoes for ladies?

I met up with Pamela and John, the lovely folks behind Market Publique. Of course, I would've have been invited to such a grand event if it wasn't for the Modcloth x Market Publique collaboration. If you didn't catch it on Monday, Modcloth launched their vintage auction on MP. You can see most of the pieces here. All dollars that surpass the minimum bid will get donated to Fashion Delivers.
