Swap-o-rama is back!
Hey Vancouverites! The Swap-O-Rama- Rama (yes rama x 2) is back! Although I won't be attending this year, for obvious reasons ( I no longer live there) I urge you to make a stop and see what it's all about. I volunteered a few years ago at one and it was definitely one of the coolest swaps I've seen. Not only can you swap clothing but diy stations are set up so you can either alter, print, sew up, your newly swapped threads!
Here are the deats:
What?
Swap-O-Rama-Rama is a clothing and craft supply swap in which a community explores reuse and creativity through the recycling of used clothing. A series of DIY stations will be on-hand to unleash your creativity including screen printing by Blim (http://www.blim.ca) and sewing stations by Plush On Main (http://www.plushonmain.com). Take as little or as much as you like! All remainders will be donated to local charities.
