Livres lus- Juillet

{I'll start posting my monthly reads in a seperate post like this at the end of each month so you can keep track of them}

This month, despite feeling busy, I somehow managed to read three books. I blame it on the extra time commuting into the city ever since my express N train decided to run local. Here are my July reads:

I got this book from Nickie and I have to say it was a pretty good and super quick read. Pattie Boyd, model of the 60's married George Harrison, then when that crumbled, left him for Eric Clapton. She retells her stories of living in Africa, becoming a model, and then having to live through 2 troubled marriages.

I was always wondering what this book was about since the title is kind of obscure. When I saw it at the Salvation Army for a buck, I said, why not? it's about a girl's journey as a book editor in the big apple.  Apparently, they made a movie, Suburban Girl starring Sarah Michelle Gellar from the novels of Melissa Bank including this book.

This is from the same author of The Time Travellers Wife. I know the movie didn't fare too well at the box office but the book was definitely better. This one revolves around 2 twin sisters that are willed their aunts house in London. The girls find out that they're not alone in the house and are being haunted by their dead aunt's soul. If you fairly believe in ghost, this book is good. I don't even believe in them (ask Nickie) and I thought it was a pretty good read.

Outfit post will be up later today (hopefully) if not tomorrow! It's a rainy day in New york city, I wish I could've stayed home in my pj's and read all day!
