{Fishtail braid}

I'm finally back on the Delightful Dozen train. It seems to go in waves as we're all very busy bloggers and well, styling things up is sometimes hard work! This is me modeling Annie's romper. Yes, it's a romper! Cute right? I didn't take a back shot, because well, I want you to come back so i'll save you the behind the scenes shots. Just take my word for it that this cute little number is in fact a romper. I knew exactly how I wanted to style it up the second I got it (yesterday). Now if only all of my clothes would be this easy.

Oh and this is my first attempt at a fishtail braid. I know it kind of looks like a regular braid, I realized that the key to getting a nice "fishtail" look is to grab smaller pieces. All I did was bring up "fishtail tutorial" on you tube and followed the first one. It's pretty darn easy so I think you might be seeing it again alot.

Bleu et Pêche

{Blue & Peach} Yes, I'm still taking outfit pictures in my backyard. We were planning on moving this weekend but midway throught he week we found out that the tenant that is curerntly in the spot we're moving into wasn't planning on getting out until Monday. Who does that? Personally, I much rather move over the weekend than leaving it until a Monday but I guess not everyone is on a Monday to Friday schedule. So, instead I spent Saturday packing away, and Sunday went into the city with my man and strolled through Central Park, and stopped into the Met for a quick look. We had a delicious lunch at Candle cafe , another amazing vegan place in the city. This outfit is from last week but I didn't have time to post it until now. I like this color combination and the tights add a little texture since both top and skirt are solid. I usually like to mix it up with a least one print but this is keeping it a little more simple.
