How many layers does it take to create an outfit? Well, let's count shall we? dress, skirt (worn under dress), top, tights, scarf, boots. Done. Well, it doesn't sound like a lot but when you're dressing in the morning it sure feels like a lot. I wore this on Friday as I thought it was a very "day to night" look. I was meeting friends after work so I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't have to come home afterwards. On those kinds of days I always try to wear black. As you know, Black os not one of my go-to colors so yes, I consciously make an effort. Well, here's my second remix of the year with these items worn in the past. I'm still in the process of cleaning out my closet so my "no new buy" ban has been as easy as ever. Well, except for when I was shopping on Saturday with my guy and wandered into UO. I'm proud to say that I walked out empty handed. I didn't even try anything on. Now that's will power.

{Blue & Peach} Yes, I'm still taking outfit pictures in my backyard. We were planning on moving this weekend but midway throught he week we found out that the tenant that is curerntly in the spot we're moving into wasn't planning on getting out until Monday. Who does that? Personally, I much rather move over the weekend than leaving it until a Monday but I guess not everyone is on a Monday to Friday schedule. So, instead I spent Saturday packing away, and Sunday went into the city with my man and strolled through Central Park, and stopped into the Met for a quick look. We had a delicious lunch at Candle cafe , another amazing vegan place in the city. This outfit is from last week but I didn't have time to post it until now. I like this color combination and the tights add a little texture since both top and skirt are solid. I usually like to mix it up with a least one print but this is keeping it a little more simple.
