Last month I was asked if I'd like to participate in a Blogger Book Reading Club. Since my New Years resolution (from 2010) was to read a book every month anyway, I thought this could be fun! So then began The Pickwick ladies book club. Anyone is welcome to join and can find the reading list on our facebook page. December was my month to chose and of course i wanted to get Little Women in there since it's such a Holiday classic for me. I first read it when I was a little girl but have probably read it over 5 times since then.
Now since we're a group of bloggers we don't just discuss the book, nope, we draw inspiration from it to create an outfit! This is my outfit taken from the March sisters since I can imagine that living in the country and having to stomp through snow just to get to the closest market is what they had to go through on a daily basis. Too bad that huge sign above me ruins the whole "vintage time" feel of the picture. Oh well, I live in Brooklyn, what can you do?
