It's been just over a month since I decided to share with the world {readers} my resolution to not buy anything new in 2011. As promised, I told you that I'd update you with my thoughts, observations, and maybe even frustrations that I encounter along the way.
  • I've been too busy to shop. This is a good thing since the temptation hasn't even been there! Well, once when I found myself in Urban Outfitters but I stayed strong.
  • I still have so many articles of clothing that I have not yet worn! This dress is proof! I received this dress as a gift from this lady back in September {I think} and this is the first time I wear it, 4 months later. Please don't judge me.
  • My closet {or non closet} space is still overloaded with stuff that it simply cannot hold anything more. I've been meaning to go through it and purge about 30% or more of it really soon.
  • I find it hard going on twitter as every  4th or 5th tweet is someone tweeting about a new shoe/purse/designer collection. I rather live in oblivion and think that no one else is buying new pretty things this year.
So those are just a few things that are on my mind right now. I'm sure some things will change as the months go by. There's still a million things that I could add but I'll just have to save them for another post!

{Blue & Peach} Yes, I'm still taking outfit pictures in my backyard. We were planning on moving this weekend but midway throught he week we found out that the tenant that is curerntly in the spot we're moving into wasn't planning on getting out until Monday. Who does that? Personally, I much rather move over the weekend than leaving it until a Monday but I guess not everyone is on a Monday to Friday schedule. So, instead I spent Saturday packing away, and Sunday went into the city with my man and strolled through Central Park, and stopped into the Met for a quick look. We had a delicious lunch at Candle cafe , another amazing vegan place in the city. This outfit is from last week but I didn't have time to post it until now. I like this color combination and the tights add a little texture since both top and skirt are solid. I usually like to mix it up with a least one print but this is keeping it a little more simple.
